BLD Services considers the safety, health and well-being of our workers and any on-site personnel to be a top priority, which is reflected in our safety motto, “No job is so important and no task is so urgent that we cannot take time to perform it safely!”
BLD Services complies with all OSHA standards and requirements while strictly implementing and enforcing a formal Safety Program that all employees must follow. The Safety Program begins even before an employee is hired as part of a pre-employment screening and job-matching process. This ensures that our staff’s skills and mental capabilities are properly matched to their job requirements, which serves to minimize the potential for accidents.
Employees are required to complete numerous levels of safety training upon hiring, including review of the BLD Services’ Safety Handbook; formal Safety Orientation training; 8-hour Competent Person training; 8-hour Confined Space Entry training; CPR training; First Aid training and hazardous Perception training. Employees then receive ongoing and “refresher” trianing to maintain certifications.
